Our Financial Planning Process
Goal-Setting and Data Gathering
Our planning process begins by getting to know you and what makes you tick. Throughout our first couple of meetings, we will work with you to help clarify your top financial goals and your values as it relates to money. Together, we will establish a clear picture of your current financial situation through an extensive data gathering process. This process entails us asking you lots of questions and requesting your help in gathering all relevant data needed to provide an accurate picture of your finances. This information will serve as the foundational building blocks in constructing your plan.
Plan Construction and Implementation
Based on our initial conversations and data collected, we will construct a comprehensive plan that takes into account all the aspects of your financial life and provides actionable steps that puts you on the right track towards achieving your goals. Holistic in scope, the plan will take into account all relevant areas of your financial life including, some or all from the following list:
· Insurance Planning & Analysis
· Tax Planning
· Investments
· Optimization of Employer Benefits & Stock Options
· Debt Elimination Strategies
· College Education Planning
· Retirement Planning
· Estate Planning
· Cash Flow Management and Budgeting
Evaluate and Adjust
Your life is not static and neither should be your plan. Economic and market fluctuations, job changes and promotions, marriage, buying a home, the birth of a child, and the death of a family member are all examples of significant events that we go through in life that could make our financial picture and our goals change substantially. We believe that the financial planning process is not a one-time event, but rather is something that requires on-going, regular attention. Thus, our relationship with our clients does not end at plan delivery, but rather we continue to meet regularly to make sure that your plan is evolving and changing as your financial situation and goals evolve and change.
